Grandparents creates a chain of love linking the past with the future. This unconditional bond was cherished at Bright Play Centre as "Grandparents' Day "where in large number of Grandparents spared their valuable time to shower blessings on their little ones.

One heals the soul, the other heals the heart'

Yoga is a practice that connects the body, breath and mind, whereas Music has the power to uplift and inspire. Children started the day with the chanting of 'Om' followed by various asanas. They learnt about the different musical instruments used by our deities. They also had hands on experience by playing different instruments.

Guru Purnima is the day to celebrate and pay our gratitude to our Gurus. Children paid respect to their teachers by touching their feet and performing a skit on the dedication of Eklavya towards his Guru Dronacharya.

Looking in the mirror, your own reflection helps to gain self-compassion, confidence and improve relationships. Children spoke sentences on Myself confidently looking in the mirror using attractive puppets.

Family serves as our first role model. It provides love, support and values to each of its members. Children came dressed up and enacted the role of each family member. They also understood the importance of each member in the family.

Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better. Children had first hand experience with varieties of fruits, vegetables and medicinal herbs. They learnt about the uses, benefits and methods of chopping them. They enjoyed tasting and smelling the herbs and understood how they strengthen our body.

Activity : Rhyme-Butterfly

Introduction of rhyme butterfly was done in a very innovative way Jr. KG classes. Children become butterflies by wearing wings made of colourful duppatas. They were introduced with the colours, habitat and food of butterflies. Juniors enjoyed singing the rhyme and exploring Butterfly world.

"Colours Colours everywhere"

Colour recognition helps children to recognize different objects which enhances the linguistic skills. Children learnt Colours with different activities like using red, blue, yellow duppata, sorting and placing different colour beads in caterpillar. Further they had first hand experience of black and white colour. Overall it was a great learning activity for Juniors.

Activity : Pre-writing Skills

Pre-writing skills helps a child to build its finger strength, eye hand co-ordination, wrist movement and grip strength to hold any object in a perfect way. It develops the ability of child to hold and move the pencil effectively.

Jr. KG children jointly practiced all the Pre- writing activities like closing and opening of bottles, buttoning the shirt, clipping, paper tearing, crumpling and pasting. Overall it was a great fun- filled activity involving learning.
